North Park University Athletics

A three-time All-CCIW selection (1990, 1991, 1992), Scott Steib has made an impact in the Chicago soccer community as both a player and coach.

Steib was named the MVP of the 1992 men's soccer team and was also named the North Park Male Athlete of the Year in 1993. Steib has continued to play men's soccer as an adult, playing for Schwaben Athletic Club in Buffalo Grove for the last 25 years.

Steib, a Health Education teacher as well as head boys' soccer coach at Barrington High School, was named the Illinois High School Coach of the Year by the IHSA in 2003, 2006, and 2007. He carries an overall coaching record of 525-157-60 as a varsity high school coach at Lake Zurich and Barrington high schools.

Steib is a member of Deer Grove Covenant in Palatine, IL and also serves as an FCA Huddle leader at Barrington High School.
