The current North Park softball coach also left behind a decorated career as a student-athlete. 

A 4 year starter, Katie Anderson was named All CCIW in 2009 while also recognized at the CCIW Newcomer of the Year. Anderson holds career records in numerous categories including career hits (169), career RBIs (111), career home runs (12), and career doubles (40). 

After finalizing her playing career, Anderson joined the NPU coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2013 where she named to the CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year. Alongside 2013 head coach Dan Gooris, Anderson helped guide the Vikings to become to top defense in all of the NCAA. The 2013 North Park softball program finished their season with a .986 fielding percentage, including 70 straight innings of errorless softball. 

Anderson is now the current head coach of the North Park softball program, taking the reins in 2015.
