CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park University Track & Field and Cross Country sent three student-athletes to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon. Maria Bugge, Julia Klein, and Thea Ring were all selected for their outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments this 2024 spring. Additionally, Ring secured consideration for All-American status, which will be voted on and announced July 9.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Women's Track and Field/XC first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 9. The Men's Track and Field/XC first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced one day later on July 10.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
