CHICAGO, Ill. -- After being named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Hitter of the Week on Monday, junior second baseman Justin Swanson  was named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week on Wednesday morning. North Central's 

Swanson went 7-for-13 in the Vikings' Spring Break trip to Florida this past week, hammering three homers and a double. The Johnson Creek, Wisconsin native was a perfect 3-for-3 with a pair of homers and a double in a 9-7 win over Greenville before cracking another go-ahead homer in the eighth inning last Friday against St. Norbert.

Across his four games, he drove in eight runners, slugged 1.165, recorded 12 assists, and played perfect defense. 

This season, Swanson maintains a slash line of .321/.500/.566 with three homers, four doubles, and 12 RBI. Additionally, he's drawn 13 walks, stole four bases, and has scored 11 times.
