CHICAGO, Ill. -- Senior closer Ethan Condit reeled in All-American honors to close a sensational final season of college baseball. Condit, a First Team All-Region 8 pick by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) this past Tuesday, secured fourth-team All-America honors on Thursday night.
Condit, a right-handed pitcher from Putnam, Illinois, became North Park's all-time leader in career saves (15) and saves in a season (8) this season, only getting better as conference play continued.

Despite being a short-inning arm, he still ranked 7th in CCIW strikeouts (28) and surrendered only 3 walks in conference action. Condit's 3.32 ERA ranked 6th in CCIW play and his .256 batting average against was 10th.
Condit, a First Team All-CCIW selection, enjoyed a 7-2 record with 8 saves in 24 appearances this year, striking out 53 batters against just 5 walks. He maintained a batting average against of .277 and allowed only 10 extra-base hits against 197 batters faced. He struck out at least one batter in 21 of his 24 appearances and had 15 multi-strikeout outings, including 5 at Elmhurst.
The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America teams were unveiled Thursday night during the Opening Ceremony of the NCAA Div. III College World Series in Eastlake, Ohio. This year's All-America selections include nine student-athletes competing in the 2026 NCAA Div. III College World Series.
The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America committees, with only ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections eligible for All-America honors. The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams were announced Tuesday.
Paul Hesse of the University of Mount Union serves as Chair of the ABCA NCAA Division III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. Committee members also include Brian Casey (U.S. Coast Guard Academy), Pete Egbert (Misericordia University), Dan Gomez (Western New England University), Ray Hedrick (Randolph-Macon College), Luke Johnson (North Park University), Scott Laverty (Chapman University), Yogi Lutz (Alvernia University), Nick Pontari (SUNY Brockport), and Kevin Tomasiewicz (University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh).
Upcoming Announcements:Â The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 17, followed by the ABCA NCAA Div. III Region All-Defensive teams on Thursday, June 18. ABCA/Rawlings National Pitchers and Position Players of the Year for all divisions will be announced on Monday, June 22.
The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first introduced in 2007.
