CHICAGO, Ill. -- The North Park University men's and women's track & field teams went back to the campus of U-Chicago this past Saturday to compete at the Windy City Rumble. The Vikings were led by top-3 performances from Pati Miazek (3rd in 3k - 10:46.75), Terence Hollis (2nd in 60m - 7.06 and 3rd in 200m - 23.36), and Jason Adkinson (2nd in triple jump - 12,43m).
Coach Alex Rosenau's Quote:
Overall, this was a very well-rounded showing for both our men's and women's programs with great performances coming from all event groups. As we get closer to our CCIW championship meet, it was encouraging to see this group take a big step forward both in the performances on the track and how we supported each throughout the meet. Between Terence's pair of top 3 finishes in the 60m and 200m, Pati's 4th place finish and 3 second PR in the 3k, and the men's 4x400m relay winning their heat in exciting fashion, we have a lot to be proud of. With the next weekend off from racing, we will turn our focus to getting in a quality two weeks of training before we return to action on February 18th at Grand Valley State University in Michigan.
