In 2022, Coach Alex Rosenau enters his third season as the head cross country coach and assistant coach for the track & field teams.

As the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Concordia's cross country and track & field programs, Rosenau coached the 2018 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Cross Country Male Athlete of the Year as well as the men's and women's 2018 NACC Freshman of the Year. He also coached the men's cross country program to its best finish at the NACC Championships in seven years.

While at Cardinal Stritch as the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field, Rosenau coached the men's cross country program to its second-best performance at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championships in the past 11 years. He also increased the university's roster size by 180%, bring in student-athletes from five different states and ten different countries.

As an athlete, Rosenau competed for the Concordia (WI) Falcons from 2013-15, while also running for the cross country program for four seasons. During the 2013 NACC Indoor Championships, Rosenau was a member of the fourth-place distance medley relay team.
