CHICAGO, Ill. -- After four seasons as the head coach of North Park men's and women's golf, Jack Haberkorn has announced that he will step down at the end of the 2026 season to pursue new opportunities as a golf instructor.

"We would like to thank Jack for his time at North Park. He elevated the program to new heights, and we wish him well in his future endeavors," said Director of Athletics, John Born. 

Haberkorn, one of the top players in program history, returned to lead the Vikings in 2023. Under his guidance, the program continued to grow in competitiveness and consistency. This season, the North Park men earned a T-3 finish out of 28 teams at the Judson Fall Invite in September, posting a 301 at Randall Oaks Golf Club.

A national search for the next men's and women's golf coach will be conducted in the very near future.
