KENOSHA, Wis. -- A select group of Vikings represented North Park Track & Field at Carthage's Firebird Finale on Friday night.
Junior Wesley McCloud showcased as the top representative from North Park, tying for first in the High Jump with a personal record bound of 1.93. McCloud and U-Chicago's Aryan Shrivastava shared the top spot in the event.
Freshman Jordan Brazil was in the upper half of finishers in the 200m finals, placing ninth with a personal best time of 24.03.
For the women, junior sprinter Riana Hayes nearly matched her CCIW Indoor Championships PR in the 55m, placing third with a time of 7.19. Sophomore Meja Lindberg finished in fifth and also ran a personal best mark of 7.23.
Finally, junior Thea Ring participated in the Long Jump, securing a fifth-place finish with a leap of 5.40m.
What's Next?
North Park is right back at it tomorrow, March 8, for a qualifying meet at UW-La Crosse. Events are set to begin at 1:00 PM CT.
