ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Three Vikings from North Park University Track & Field secured All-American honors thanks to their standout performance at the 2025 Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday. Thea Ring and Jereme Ombogo placed in the top eight spots of their events, earning first team status, while Riana Hayes was in the top 16 of the 200m race, securing a second team nod.
Thea Ring finished as the Runner-Up in the Pentathlon, concluding the event with a new personal record point total of 3,754. Jereme Ombogo qualified for both the 60m and 200m Finals on Saturday with respective finishing spots of fourth and second in the Prelims. Riana Hayes was just outside of qualifying in the 200m, placing 11th with a time of 24.99.

Ring went toe-to-toe with Emory University's Nikki Boon, who was top three in every Pentathlon event to place first. She was third in the 60m Hurdles (8.97), 12th in the High Jump (1.57), and took a massive jump to PR the Shot Put (11.27m, 5th) to slot herself third among competitors.

Ring's leap of 5.54m in the Long Jump placed her sixth in the event and put her just behind Boon's overall score. The two duked it out in Heat 2 of the 800m, as Ring pulled ahead in the final stretch to finish second in the race and conclude her time at the Championships with a Runner-Up finish.
Ring will enjoy her junior indoor season as an All-American in the event, in addition to another North Park all-time record.
Ombogo established a personal record in the 60m with a time of 6.69 to easily qualify for Friday's finals race. His time of 21.34 in the 200m was also a new best and only .02 seconds behind UW-La Crosse's Sam Blaskowski, who ran a 21.32 to finish in the top spot of the Prelims.

Ombogo placed fourth in the 60m Finals with a 6.72 while Blaskowski claimed the event with a time of 6.62.
He added one more point to total five on the day when he placed eighth in the 200m, crossing the line at 22.97.
The trio of All-Americans is a single-season program high for North Park, and the three high-flying Vikings are primed for a fantastic outdoor season this spring.
