Come-from-behind win leads to CCIW Women's Tennis Player of the Week nod for Dudas

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Park Women's Tennis earned a gritty win over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon, solidified by a three-set win for freshman Jessica Dudas. The anchor of the singles play earned College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week honors for her efforts against the Titans.

Dudas was down five games in the third set against her IWU opponent and wont the next five games in a row as the Vikings took four singles matches from the Titans. The come-from-behind win was "definitely the highlight of our season" according to Head Coach Alice Copland.

The freshman from Roselle, Illinois is 4-3 in singles play this year and enjoyed a 6-1 win over Elmhurst with doubles partner Holly Chleboun. This is the first career Player of the Week honor for Dudas.
