NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The North Park Men's and Women's Track & Field programs reached new highs on Tuesday morning, earning respective national ranks of 20th and 33rd according to the Week 1 Athletic.net Division III list.

Jereme Ombogo is powering the men's team to 20th in DIII Track & Field, the first time NPU has cracked into the top 25. He ranks third in the 60m (6.78), second in the 200m (21.34). North Central (3rd) is the only team from the CCIW ranked ahead of the Vikings.

For the women, Thea Ring's 3,576 point total in the Pentathlon at UW-Oshkosh in December still ranks second in Division III. She's also 13th in the 200m (25.01) while Riana Hayes is ranked 23rd (25.36) in the same event.
