NAPERVILLE, Ill. – After medaling in just the second collegiate event of his career at the Judson Invitational on Sept. 6, freshman Felix Pettersson was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday afternoon.

Pettersson shot a one under (-1) par 70 at Randall Oaks Golf Club this past Friday to tie for the top spot in the event. 

At the Firebird Fall Classic earlier this week, which did not count towards his weekly honor, Petterrsson and teammate Tommy Taylor finished in the top 30 out of a pool of 96 competitors.
