WHEATON, Ill. -- The Vikings track & field team turned in another big day at Saturday's Don Church Invite, hosted by Wheaton College.
Senior Clark Fremouw had a standout day with his biggest marks coming in the discus and shot put. He finished in 1st place in the discus as well as 2nd place in the shot put. His throw of 49.82m (163'5") in the discus is now a new school record and also ranks him 16th in the nation. Fremouw added a personal best in the hammer throw at 47.18m (154'9"), good for 5th place in the meet.
Sophomore sprinter Jereme Ombogo continues to show his dominance in the 200 meters as he won the event with a time of 22.00 seconds. Additionally, senior Daniel Ramsfjell showcased a second-place finish in the high jump, marking a personal record of 1.67m.
The North Park women's sprint crew continues to show well, energizing the team in the 100-meter dash as well as the 200-meter dash as three women finished in the top 7: Riana Hayes (2nd Place), Aaliyah Parker-Fox (6th Place), Mariana Costa (7th Place).
In the 100 hurdles, freshmen Julia Klein (8th place), and Thea Ring (3rd Place) both had a top-8 finishes. Ring ran a time of 15.43 which is the 4th fastest time in school history while Klein ran a time of 17.53 which is a personal best for her. Finally, senior Patrycja Miazek ran the fifth-fastest time in school history and earned a third-place finish with a time of 10:38.41 in the 3000 meter.
Another top-eight performance came from freshman Maria Bugge, finishing third overall with a throw of 45.65m (150'3"). In javelin, seniors Esther Miller (3rd Place) and Grace Heppner (8th Place) both finished in the top 8. Miller's throw was 30.38m and Heppner had a mark of 24.35m. Finally, sophomore Ubaydullah Kromwell finished in 6th place with a mark of 40.98m.

- Clark Fremouw is now the new school record holder in the Discus.
- Patrycja Miazek is now 5th all-time in NPU history in the 3,000-meter.
- Thea Ring is now 4th all-time in NPU history for 100 Meter Hurdles
- 7th all-time in NPU history in the 200 Meters
- Riana Hayes is now 8th all-time in NPU history for 100 Meters.
