WHEATON, Ill. -- Both the men's and women's track & field teams turned in a successful weekend at the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) outdoor championships this past weekend. The Vikings totaled nine All-Conference performances, five top-10 program performances, and one new school record.

Senior Terence Hollis broke a 41-year-old school record in the 100m dash. He lowered the previous record by a significant amount on Saturday, dropping from 10.80 to 10.64 seconds. That mark moved him into the top-50 on the NCAA performance list. He finished second at the meet this past weekend.

In addition to his record-setting performance, Hollis teamed up with Michael Kleiner, Jereme Ombogo, & Silas Madrigal for the men's 4x100 crew as they ran a time of 42.52 and finished third at the meet.

Junior Clark Fremouw had a breakout performance in the throws events as he recorded a pair of top-5 performances all-time. He finished second in the discus and seventh in the shot put. Fremouw has had an incredible progression over the last year in the discus and shot put. Last year he finished with a personal best in the discus with a mark of 34.38m and improved that mark all the way to 46.31m. He has done the same in shot put with a mark of 13.05m to a mark of 14.17m.
