CHICAGO, Ill. -- The North Park University baseball team fell victim to a four-run third inning on Friday night, dropping a 7-4 contest to Wheaton College.
Wheaton led early thanks to clutch doubles by Haggerty and a triple by Diel. North Park's Garret Bragg drove a run-scoring single to right field in the second inning and Justin Swanson smacked an RBI double down the left field line in the third.
North Park ended its scoring on an RBI single by Logan Peters and sac fly by Jim Zay in the sixth. However, this was not enough as Wheaton pulled away with the win.
