Strong Performances at Al Carius Old Fashion Meet and Wisconsin Lutheran for Track & Field

The outdoor season opener was delayed one week after the Benedictine Invite was canceled mid-meet due to rain and snow, however, that didn't hold back the Vikings as they recorded over 5 all-time performances over the span of two meets this week. 

The men's 4x100 Meter relay set the tone for the week as they ran the 4th fastest time in school history. The men's 4x100 relay of Michael Kleiner, Jereme Ombogo, Silas Madrigal & Terence Hollis finished 2nd at the Wheaton meet with a time of 42.63. 

Senior Terence Hollis had a great week as he won the 100-meter dash running a time of 10.89 at Wheaton as well as running a time of 10.90 at Wisconsin Lutheran. In addition to Hollis, freshman Jereme Ombogo won the 200-meter dash at Wheaton with a time of 22.43 which is now 8th all-time in school history.  

Junior Clark Fremouw had a great day with his biggest mark coming in the shot put and finishing 7th at Wisconsin Lutheran. His throw of 13.57m is now 10th all-time in school history.  

Junior Esther Miller picked up where she left off from indoor season and has had over 5 top 9 finishes in her events this season. At Wheaton she finished 2nd in the triple jump, 4th in the long jump, and 7th in the 100-meter hurdles. While at Wisconsin Lutheran she finished 6th in the High Jump and 9th in the 200-meter dash.  

Another top performer was Junior Patrycja Miazek as she ran the 5000 meters on Monday and finished 5th with a time of 19:20.76 and is now 9th all-time in school history. She also competed on Thursday and ran a personal best in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:07.71.
