Coach Kidane's Review
"This Elmhurst meet was really a hard test for our team," North Park coach Bisrat Kidane said. "We actually left a good portion of our team back at home due to either injury or needing a week off. Overall, we passed the test. We had some good marks, but nothing to ring home about. With the pandemic, and how we prepared for the meet. We're going to face some situations that aren't normal, and that was the lesson to the team during a meet of this caliber. Overall, we had some good performances. I encourage our athletes to learn something from each competition, and that was certainly the case Friday. They learned to rise to the occasion and compete. It was difficult to wake up earlier then normal, drive to the meet, get off the bus and compete, but today was a good learning experience."
