ELMHURST, Ill. -- Not long after finishing their indoor season, the North Park University men's and women's track & field teams competed in their first outdoor competition on the campus of Elmhurst University. Both teams placed seventh in the event.
Coach Kidane's ReviewÂ
"We got off to a pretty good start Saturday, and I was very happy to see our team pick up from where we left off from indoor" North Park coach Bisrat Kidane said. "We had some really good performances in the pole vault, as well as in the discus, so that kicked off the momentum we needed for the rest of the meet. We showed good form, and I'm excited for what we can do the rest of the season."
