KENOSHA, Wis. -- After a couple of weeks off, the North Park University men's and women's track & field teams competed for the third time this season on the campus of Carthage College. The Vikings saw a number of top finishers in the one-day event, highlighted by a season-best 800meter time for Patrycja Miazek and first-place finishes for Terence Hollis and Jason Adkinson.

Coach Kidane's Review 

"This was meet No. 3 for us, and up to this point it was our best effort yet, our best showing yet," head coach Bisrat Kidane said. "I am proud of so many different areas today, both on the track and in the field, and we had several PRs and top-10 marks in school history. With two more weeks until the CCIW Elite Meet, I think the main challenge is to stay healthy. We are starting to hit our stride and it's very exciting to see." 

Top Performers 

• Patrycja Miazek finished 2nd in the 800-meters. Her time was a season-best of 2:26.92. 
• Ameerah Brown finished 6th in the 55-meter and 200-meter. Her time was 8.15(55) and 30.00(200). 
• Jackie Mendro finished 2nd in the mile. Her time was 6:40.23. 
• Terence Hollis finished 1st in the 55-meter and 5th in the 200 meters. His time was 23.61(200) and 6.54(55). His 55-meter time places him 36th in the country currently. 
• Jason Adkinson finished 1st in Triple Jump with a jump of 13.08 meters. Currently ranked 43rd in the country. 
• Daniel Dwight finished 2nd in the long jump with a jump of 6.57 meters. 
• Aeneas Lanier finished 6th in the 200-meter, 6th in the 55-meter, and 4th in the long jump. His times and marks were, 23.76(200), 6.89(55), and 6.15 meters (Long Jump) 
• Brenner Klein finished 2nd in the mile and 6th for the 800-meters. 4:40.75(mile) and 2:08.02(800).
