All-CCIW writeup: Rothermel, on the all-conference team for the second time in three seasons, led the conference with 32 blocks against CCIW opponents, and her 12 solo blocks was far-and-ahead the top total. The Cary, Illinois middle blocker averaged nearly a block per set and drove 65 kills, the second-best mark on the Vikings. She hit .278 against CCIW opponents and boasted seven blocks against Millikin. Rothermel had four CCIW matches with 4+ blocks and she was the CCIW Offensive Player of the Week on September 29.
