STERLING, Ill. -- North Park Women's Tennis enjoyed its third-straight College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) win on Friday afternoon, winning a neutral site match against Augustana.

The Vikings enjoyed a pair of doubles wins to start things on a positive note. Tyra Olsson and Alexandra Pugachova grinded out a 6-4 win after Nova Mickelsson and Jessica Dudas took 6-2, 6-3 wins over their Rock Island Viking opponents.

Singles action saw North Park sweeps from Katharina Schuler in the second slot (6-3, 7-5) and Andromeda Diamantidis in the sixth position (6-3, 7-5). The key match was the longest single action of the day, as Olsson came from behind to secure a win in extra play. After dropping the first set 6-3, Olsson went 6-4, 7-6 in her favor in a match that lasted over two-and-a-half hours, handing Vikings the pivotal fourth point and the victory over Augie.
