OSHKOSH & KENOSHA, Wis. -- North Park Track & Field competed at the UW-Oshkosh Early Bird Open and Carthage's Forever Red Alumni Classic on Friday and Saturday.
The top story from the two events features a PR for Thea Ring. Not only a personal record in the Pentathlon (3,507), but also a first-place finish, as the junior all-around athlete already looks to be in midseason form.
Ring finished top three in all of the events for the Pentathlon, including a PR throw of 10.76m in the shotput where she finished first. She was also first in the 800m with a time of 2:24.53. Ring also earned a first-place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 25.30.
