NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Park Women's Tennis earned the final College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week award on Tuesday morning when the league office recognized Alexandra Ristfeldt's perfect singles play. Ristfeldt's honors were the first of the season for the Vikings, who earned their first-ever CCIW title this season.

Ristfeldt, who made her way to North Park via Stockholm, Sweden, enjoyed a pair of singles wins in the #2 position this past week against Grinnell (Oct. 12) and at North Central (Oct. 15). Both victories for Ristfeldt were three-set thrillers against nationally ranked competition.

Ristfeldt ended the 2024 fall season with a perfect 8-0 record (7-0 in CCIW) recording every win in the second position. She's run her winning streak in singles play to a dozen matches, with her most recent singles loss arriving against Luther on April 13, 2024.
