CHICAGO, Ill. -- After a disappointing loss against Dominican University on Wednesday night, the Vikings Women's Soccer team (1-2, 0-0) turns their attention to Loras College (0-0-1, 0-0), the No. 9 nationally ranked team in the Division III preseason poll. 

The Loras College Duhawks ended their 2024 season 20-0-2 with a perfect 8-0 conference record, along with winning the American Rivers Conference Tournament against Simpson College.  The Duhawks' 2024 season ended after a nice run in the NCAA DIII Tournament, making it to the Sweet 16 before losing to Emory University in penalty kicks 4-3. 

It is still early in the Vikings' season to turn the ship around, and a win or tie against a top-10 ranked Loras team just might be the spark they need to go on a run after two recent losses.

The match takes place on Saturday, September 6th at 5pm at Loras' Rock Bowl Stadium in Dubuque, Iowa.
