ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- Alexander Remahl led North Park Men's Golf in the Vikings' opening weekend at the Highland Championship. North Park finished 11th of 21 teams with 288, 311 score totals.

Remahl placed t7 in a pool of 112 competitors, carding a 68 on day one and a 73 on day two. He carded five birdies in 36 holes and had an eagle on day one. Remahl was four under through the first round, shooting over par on just one hole.

Jack Groves was the next best finisher for NPU, placing 41st (+5). He carded six birdies in the event.

North Park now looks to the Judson Fall Invite this coming Friday, September 5, for a round at the Randall Oaks GC.
