NORMAL, Ill. -- North Park Men's Golf competed at the IWU Invite this past weekend. The Vikings finished t30 of 38 teams, with a two-day score of 314, 306.

William Trainor broke into the top 100 in a pool of 228 players, placing 85th with a +10 for the meet. Trainor carded three birdies and 24 pars in the event.

Alexander Remahl was the next-best Viking finisher in 118th (+13). He carded four birdies at Ironwood Golf Club on day two.

Illinois Wesleyan took first at the event with totals of 283, 292. UW-Eau Claire's Spencer Lynch had a two-day total of 137 (70, 67) to place in the top individual spot.

North Park heads to Racine, Wisconsin for the Carthage Spring Invite on Thursday, April 10. The event at Meadowbrook Country Club begins at 9:30 AM CT.
