DECATUR, Ill. -- The North Park Men's and Women's Golf programs competed at Millikin's Take Back the Night event on Friday and Saturday. The NPU Men were 18th of 20 (312, 324) while the Women were led by a t7 finish from Kelly Deterding (+15). 

Deterding was the top performer for North Park, cracking the top 10 once more with a t7 finish. She shot an 81 in round one with 10 pars and a birdie before improving with a 78 in round two, shooting eight pars and a pair of birdies.

Amber Fellows places t27 (+28) after shooting respective round one and two scores of 85, 8 including a birdie in round one.

For the Viking men, Jack Groves was 71st (+15) shooting a 78, 79. He carded three birdies and made 19 pars in the 36-hole event.

What's Next?

The North Park Women finish their season on Monday, April 28, at the Strawberrky Creek Invite while the Men have the CCIW Championship from Thursday, May 1 - Saturday, May 3.
