CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park Women's Golf ended its fall season on a high note, sending senior Kelly Deterding to the podium and All-Conference team thanks to a fifth-place finish (232) at the three-day CCIW Championships at Metamora Fields Golf Course.
Deterding shot the second-most birdies (7), only playing runner up to top performer Macy Ludwig from Illinois Wesleyan. Deterding also carded 28 pars and her 4.33 (+9) average on par 4's was the third-best among a field of 50 golfers.
Amber Fellows was the next best finisher for the Vikings, shooting a three-day total of 266 (+53) to finish 35th. She was also named the CCIW's RESPECT Award winner.

At the conclusion of every sports season, each varsity program will recognize one student-athlete as their RESPECT Award honoree. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
