PEORIA, Ill. -- North Park Cross Country made the decision to compete at Bradley's Pink Classic on Friday to avoid inclement weather on Saturday. 

Ali Karatas was the top finisher for the Vikings, placing 73rd of 221 runners with a time of 27:19.55. Three other Vikings also competed at Bradley's White Race: Eyden Agicic (140th, 29:28.24), Albin Freiholtz (169th, 30:56.33), Alex Salmeron (197th, 33:34.39), and Jalen Rios (218th, 38:12.86)

The Vikings now look to the CCIW Championship on Saturday, November 1, at the Saukie Golf Course. The championship begins at noon ct.
