WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The North Park University Vikings secured a hard-fought victory over the Carroll University Pioneers in a five-set match. 

The Vikings took an early 2-0 lead with scores of 25-18 and 25-23. However, the Pioneers battled back, winning the third and fourth sets 25-21 and 25-17, forcing the game to a decisive fifth set. North Park held strong and narrowly claimed the final set 18-16, securing the match.

Kills: Adriana Rodriguez led the offense with 23 kills, while Shamyia Collier and Meg Rothermel each contributed 8.

Aces: Rodriguez recorded 5 aces, with Carolina Aviles and Rian Hobbs each adding 1.

Digs: Aviles was a defensive anchor with 21 digs, followed by Rodriguez with 15 and Kharlie Simeona-French with 11.
