CHICAGO, Ill. -- One day after being named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, junior linebacker Jaydin Miller's weekly recognition has risen to National Team of the Week accolades. D3football.com announced their 11 defenders named to the National Team of the Week on Tuesday morning, with Miller being the only CCIW representative on the list.

Miller overwhelmed the Big Blue offense in front of an energetic Homecoming crowd on Saturday afternoon, totaling nine tackles, including three for a loss of yards and seven solo tackles. Miller, one of the captains on the 2023 Viking squad, also added three sacks for a loss of 30 yards and intercepted a pass before returning it 17 yards.

This season, Miller leads the Vikings in tackles (22), solo tackles, (15), sacks (3), and interceptions (3). He was a second-team All-CCIW selection in 2022, totaling a league fifth-best 69 tackles.
