WARRENVILLE, Ill. – A small group of North Park cross country competitors made the trek to St. James Farm Forest Preserve to continue their season at the Gil Dodds Invitational this past Saturday.

Freshman Sophie Hummitsch was the top finisher for the women's team, turning in a time of 27:15.9 and a 7:19 pace. Sophomore Erika Ver Beek followed Hummitsch with a time of 27:59.2 and a 7:30 pace.

For the men, sophomore Ali Karatas represented the Vikings with a 28:25.5 mark and 5:43 pace.

What's Next?

The Vikings will be off during Homecoming Week before heading north to compete in West Allis, Wisconsin at Greenfield Park on Saturday, September 30. The meet is set for an 11:00 AM start.
