Dan Stoll Joins Viking Track & Field and Cross Country Programs as an Assistant Coach

CHICAGO, Ill. – North Park Cross Country and Track & Field is excited to add full-time assistant Dan Stoll to Vikings Athletics.

"After a thorough and extensive search for our next assistant track and cross country coach, it became evident that Dan was the right person for North Park," said Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, Bisrat Kidane. "Dan's energy level knowledge of the sport was evident throughout the process and his commitment to the development of the whole person made for a perfect fit within our program. I am excited about the future of our program. Great days are ahead!"

Stoll was a five-time national qualifier for Heidelberg University (C '21), three-time All-American, and was named an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) All-Conference selection 11 times. He set the school records in the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter dash. Stoll Received the Herman E. Sayger Award recognizing a student athlete who is most likely to succeed beyond their time at Heidelberg. 

Stoll secured a Masters of Human Resource Management from College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) familiar North Central College (C '23) where he worked with the Horizontal Jumps competitors as a graduate assistant coach.

"I am very excited for the opportunity to continue my coaching career at North Park," said Coach Stoll. "It has always been my goal to find a program where I can help to build it into a dominant force. Bisrat has already gotten the ball rolling for this program and I can't wait to keep it going with him and the rest of the staff!"
