CHICAGO, Ill. – The North Park University football is gearing up for another season, adding a staggering amount of newcomer firepower to head coach Kyle Rooker's 2022 squad. Overall, 58 freshmen and three transfers are just days away from their first participation in the Vikings' preseason camp.
"Our coaching staff is excited about the overall depth and quality of our 2022 recruiting class," said fourth-year head coach Kyle Rooker. "These young men are talented athletically, committed academically, and have a passion for the game of football. Most importantly, they are great people who believe in the core values of North Park University and align with our program philosophy of doing things 'The Right Way'."
The newcomers land in Chicago after departing 11 states, including 33 from Illinois, seven from Texas, six from Indiana, and five from Florida. The complete list of newcomers [as of August 4] is listed below.
