WEST DUNDEE, Ill. -- The North Park University men's golf team posted their best score of the year at the Judson Invite on Monday afternoon, finishing 2nd of 12 (303) at the one-day event.

Alex Thompson finished just two strokes out of first place with a score of 74 (+3), good for a third-place finish on the individual side. Jordan Chow was right behind Thompson, notching a T8 performance with a score of 75 (+4) while Jake Jacott's 76 (+5) put him in the T12 slot.

This is the first time the Vikings have shot under 310 since their 308 performance at the Elmhurst Spring Invite on April 20.

North Park golf next heads to Milwaukee for the MSOE Invitational, hosted at the Grand Geneva Resort on October 3 & 4.
