ELMHURST, Ill. – The North Park University women's volleyball team fell in straight sets to No. 8 Elmhurst University (25-20, 25-19, 25-14) on Tuesday night.
The nationally-ranked Bluejays maintained an attacking percentage of .259 on the night, including hitting .483 in the final set. Additionally, Elmhurst drove eight service aces and 45 kills.
North Park was led by Taylor Guy who tallied seven kills and Raghen Walker and Brilynd Pence each added a block. The second set of the night was the brightest for North Park, as they hit .171 with 12 kills. However, the Bluejays were still able to take the Vikings down in straight sets.
North Park (1-3) makes the quick turnaround to host Illinois Wesleyan University tomorrow night. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
