CHICAGO, Ill. – The 14th-ranked North Central College Cardinals and the 23rd-ranked North Park University Vikings arrive at the Holmgren Athletic Complex tomorrow, October 16, for an undefeated College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) showdown.
The Cardinals have won 14 times in 15 games this season, with their lone non-win arriving against Elmhurst University on September 25. North Central goalkeeper Sid Marquardt leads all of Division III soccer with 10 shutouts, is third in goals against average (0.22) and sixth in save percentage (90.9). Additionally, the Cardinals have the nation's 10th-best goal differential at +30.
North Park is enjoying a five-game winning streak, outscoring those defeated opponents 23-to-2. As a team, the Vikings are amongst Division III's best in a variety of statistical categories, including:
