CHICAGO, Ill. – The North Park University women's volleyball team set the stat sheet on fire Tuesday night, earning an emphatic straight set win over Beloit College (25-13, 25-11, 25-16).
After both teams reached three points in the first set, the Vikings would go on an 8-to-1 run. In that scoring stretch, Taylor Guy, Adriana Rodriguez, and Rhianna Huebner would all drive at least one kill each. The Buccaneers fought back to trail by four at 14-10, but kills from Brily Pence, Rodriguez, and Gatta would widen the deficit to 18-10. Extending their lead to 24-13, Jewel Schroeder drove the set's final point as North Park opened up with a 25-13 win.
The second set featured a .542 hitting percentage from North Park, alongside 14 kills and just one error. The Vikings nearly held Beloit under 10 points in the set, en route to a 25-11 victory.
North Park completed the sweep with the support of a variety of players off the bench. Schroeder began set three with a kill and Shamyia Collier followed up with a service ace. Taylor Guy and Rodriguez sent in kills of their own, alongside another form Raghen Walker for a 10-3 lead. Later in the set, Katrina Bagcus-Bumanglag delivered an ace while Andjela Dimitrijevic and Erin O'Hara added kills to give Vikings a 25-16 third set win.

North Park (14-7, 1-4 CCIW) finally enjoys a few days off before heading to Kenosha, Wisconsin for a tri-match at Carthage College this Saturday, October 16. The first match, a non-conference contest against Carthage, will take place at 3pm before the 5pm match with UW-Oshkosh.
