BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The North Park University baseball team concluded its three-game series with fourth-ranked Birmingham Southern College on Sunday afternoon, falling 9-1.
The Panthers settled into an early 8-0 lead through five innings, marking at least one run in each frame.
North Park scratched a run across the board in the seventh inning when sophomore outfielder Logan Peters scored following a throwing error from freshman Frank Kalemba's infield single.
However, the offense stayed dormant through the rest of the game, as the Vikings fell to the Panthers 9-1.
