CHICAGO, Ill. -- The North Park University women's volleyball team had a difficult Saturday, losing to the University of Dubuque and No. 8 U-Chicago in straight sets.
Match One: Dubuque 3, North Park 0 (23-25, 23-25, 10-25)
The Vikings played Dubuque tough in the first two sets of the afternoon at 23-25, but the Spartans caught fire in the would-be final set of the night. The third set for the Spartans featured a .393 hitting percentage with 12 kills, as Dubuque earned a dominant 25-10 set win and 3-0 match victory.

Unfortunately, the second match of the day featured the nation's eighth-ranked team in the University of Chicago. The Vikings were overpowered, as the Maroons racked up a devastating .449 hitting percentage with 48 kills to take the straight-sets win.
