Volleyball loses to Elmhurst

The North Park volleyball team suffered a 15-25, 22-25, 17-25 loss to visiting Elmhurst College in CCIW action Tuesday night.

Sophomore Lauren Wiltsie led the Vikings' net attack with 14 kills in 34 attempts with only four errors for a .294 hitting percentage. Niki Ahlstrand added five kills and two service aces while senior libero Karen Rosales came up with 12 digs. Kajsa Meyer dished out 19 assists.

Elmhurst improved its record to 15-7 and 4-1 in the CCIW. Both Melissa Nava (12) and Alli Rogers (10) combined for 22 of the Bluejays 54 kills in the match.

North Park (6-17, 0-4) looks to rebound Friday night when it hosts Carroll University for its 2016 'Think Pink' match at 7 p.m.
