Despite 300 yards passing on 19 of 33 completions from freshman quarterback T. D. Conway, the Vikings couldn't find an answer to Illinois Wesleyan's offensive attack as the host Titans earned a 52-21 victory over North Park Saturday.

A week after snapping an 89-game College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin football losing streak with a 22-20 victory over Carthage, North Park was looking to build on its momentum. But IWU combined for 531 yards of total offense and staked a 45-0 lead before the Vikings got on the board in the fourth quarter via a 63-yard touchdown pass from Conway to senior Nick Weinstein, which ended a three-play, 68-yard drive with 12:48 left.

North Park added two more scores in the final period on Conway touchdown passes as the freshman phenom found Alan Geneva for a 20-yard strike and again on a 51-yard pass play with just over two minutes remaining in the contest.

Geneva led the Vikings air attack as he had five catches for 97 yards, while Weinstein snagged two completions for 78 yards. Freshman Marquis Magwood added 10 carries for 43 yards on the ground as NP amassed 326 yards of total offense.

The Vikings (1-4, 1-1) return to action this weekend when they host CCIW foe North Central College Saturday at 1 p.m.
