Elmhurst College proved why it's been on a football hot streak of late as the Bluejays defeated North Park in a 31-0 decision Saturday afternoon to extend their win streak to four games and improve their overall record to 7-1.

But NP still showed it can turn out a strong performance in the face of defeat as it garnered nearly 200 yards rushing spread between four different players.

Senior Matt Hassan led NP's ground game as he had 58 yards rushing on 17 carries. Junior Tyler Krebs added 39 yards on 19 carries and junior quarterback Jon Williams rushed 11 times for 28 yards.

Defensively, Taylor Simental turned in the best game of the season as he recorded 14 total tackles, 11 of which were solo. Senior defensive back Andrew Saltzman forced one fumble and recorded six total tackles (five solo), while senior Douglas Ivy had one interception.

North Park (1-7, 0-5) looks to rebound this coming Saturday when it hosts Millikin University for the final home game of the season at 1 p.m.
