The North Park men's basketball team fell 56-54 to non-conference host Anderson University Tuesday night in Anderson, Indiana.

Kendell Greer capped a 9-3 scoring run with a three-pointer at the 1:24 mark of the second half, but two free throws from Anderson's Andrew Bowman with 1:06 left proved to be the deciding factor as North Park freshman

The Vikings enjoyed a six-point advantage early in the first half after lay-up from sophomore
Mike Gabriel gave NP a 20-14 lead, but Anderson used a 13-7 scoring run over the last 6:20 of the half to tie the score at 27-27 at halftime.
Gabriel led North Park with his first career double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Vikings out-rebounded Anderson 43-31. Greer was the only other Viking in double-figure scoring as he tallied 10 on 4-of-6 shooting. Both Bowman and Brock Morrison led Anderson with 12 points each.
North Park (1-3) looks to rebound when it comes home after the holiday week to host Coe College Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
