CHICAGO, IL (October 8, 2011) - The North Park football team fell 42-3 to visiting Illinois Wesleyan University in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action Saturday afternoon.

North Park's lone score came on a 40-yard field goal early in the second quarter from junior kicker Tony Kebede, ending a seven-play, 15-yard drive with 11:15 left.

In all, the Vikings had 235 yards rushing with an average of 3.9 yards per carry.  Freshman Greg Drain was strong on defense with four tackles and one sack for a loss. 

North Park (3-2, 0-2) returns to action Oct. 15 when it hosts Wheaton College at 2 p.m. for the Homecoming game.
