CHICAGO, IL (October 1, 2011) – The North Park football team fell 59-6 to host Elmhurst College in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action Saturday afternoon.

North Park's lone touchdown came in the second quarter when senior wide receiver Sam Cochiaro scored on a 39-yard run, which ended a seven-play, 66-yard drive with 1:58 left in the quarter.

In all, the Vikings had 170 yards rushing with junior Matt Hassan leading with 72 yards on 15 carries. Senior punter Mark Howard was also strong with eight punts for 296 yards, averaging 37 yards per punt.

North Park (3-1, 0-1) returns to action Oct. 8 when it hosts Illinois Wesleyan University at 1 p.m.
