2013: Started in all six appearances he made as a pitcher before taking a medical hardship after sustaining an elbow injury…In 38 1/3 innings pitched, he struck out a team fourth-best 32 batters and walked only 18…Carried a .241 opponents’ batting average and had a 1-2 record with one complete game…His 2.11 earned run average ranked second on the team.

2012: Appeared in 15 games and made 13 starts as a pitcher…In a team-high 101 innings pitched, he led the team with 99 strikeouts…Had a 9-2 record with a 3.12 earned run average…Was named an ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-American as well as an All-CCIW First Team selection, CCIW Co-Pitcher of the Year, a D3Baseball.com All-Central Region selection and D3Baseball.com Pitcher of the Year…His 99 strikeouts ranked ninth nationally and he earned ABCA All-Central Region honors…Recorded seven complete games, which ranked 19th nationally and had a .258 opponents batting average…Was twice named CCIW Pitcher of the Week (April 3 and May 1) and earned one save.

2011: Appeared in 10 games with six starts on the mound…In 53 innings of work he accumulated a 5-1 record with 49 strikeouts and one save…His best outing came against Milikin on April 9 with a complete game five-hit, nine-strikeout performance…He earned his final win of the season against Wheaton with 6 2/3 innings of work.

2010: Appeared in 13 games and a posted a 2-1 record…In 23.1 innings pitched, he struck out 17 batters and walked nine….Had the fifth lowest batting average against at .283.

High School: Was a three-year letter winner as a pitcher and a first baseman for the baseball team…Served as the team’s captain his sophomore through senior seasons and was the recipient of the team’s Hitting Award and All-North Suburban Conference Honorable Mention honors his junior year…Earned the Pitching Award his sophomore and senior seasons and was named the team’s MVP his senior year…Led the team in ERA his sophomore and senior seasons and batting average his junior year…Was named to the All-Conference team his senior season.
