High School: Was a four-year letter winner as an infielder and outfielder for the baseball team…Earned Second Team All-Metro Classic honors his freshman, sophomore and junior seasons…Earned Gold Glove honors as a freshman outfielder…Was a First Team All-Metro Classic selection his senior year as well as a Second Team All-County pick his sophomore, junior and senior seasons…Helped lead the team to four-straight conference titles and a sectional championship his junior year…Led the conference and the area in runs scored and was second in all-time hits with 109 and first in runs scored with 114…Was a career .370 hitter and drove in 52 runs.
