High School: Was a three-year letter winner for the baseball team…Led the team with a .431 batting average with 50 hits, 29 runs scored and 24 RBI as a junior…Was a member of the National Honor Society…Helped lead the team to a fourth-place state finish and earned All-Area Second Team honors as well as Top Performer of the Week by the Courier News with a batting average of .472…Earned All-Area Honorable mention honors by the Daily Herald.
